Respect Canada social media coordinator Ted Bird had the honour and privilege of being invited to the 2024 Black Watch Canada (RHR) Honorary Colonel Dining-In May 3, held this year at Maison Louis Joseph Forget while the officers’ mess at the regimental armoury undergoes renovations. Mr. Bird enjoyed the pleasure of the company of Ms. Tiffany Stevanovich while renewing several longstanding acquaintances, including outgoing HCol and former Regimental Commanding Officer Bruce Bolton, former RCO Thomas MacKay and current CO Rob Unger. The Black Watch is the oldest highland regiment in Canada, with volunteers serving since its inception in 1862.
