The next Introductory Talk on TM is scheduled for Wednesday evening, May 8th at 7 p.m. The location will be 1611 Meadowfield Place in Orleans, Ottawa. This will be an information session only and attending is not a commitment to taking the course. If someone would like to go ahead and enroll for the course, there will be an opportunity to do so on the same evening by filling out the paper work and making an appointment for Personal Instruction on Saturday, May 11. The first day of instruction is done in private one on one with the teacher. Following that, there are 3 consecutive follow up meetings done in a group of everyone who learned on that Saturday. These sessions are all required elements of the course and are done in person.
Donna Anderson works with the women and Roy Anderson works with the Men.
Also note that family members of qualified Veterans are also funded to learn TM. The sessions are available for ages 4 yrs. and up. Children under age 10 learn a slightly simpler technique that does not involve closing the eyes. From age ten and up, the children learn the adult technique but practice for a shorter time.
Please contact us regarding funding for this program. This funding is for survivors of sexual misconduct and it is available for persons currently or formerly serving under DND in a military capacity as well as for civilian employees of DND who have experienced sexual misconduct. This funding also applies to family members and any support workers for these individuals. It is good to understand that anyone claiming to have experienced sexual misconduct will not be required to provide any proof or details. It is enough that they self-declare in order to receive this funding.
