Our Mission: To create a network among organizations who support CAF veterans, Emergency Responders and their families in meeting the array of challenges, such as: transition, mental health, and housing instability, by promoting collaboration that improves the delivery of services.

This is a special opportunity to hear from two incredible leaders, Julius Brown and Gisèle Fontaine, as they share their experiences and insights on leadership, mental health, and support for veterans and first responders.

  • Gisèle Fontaine (Colonel Retired) MSC CD RN CHE
    Gisèle is a seasoned leader with nearly 37 years of service in the Canadian Armed Forces, where she held critical leadership roles, including commanding the CAF Medical and Dental Services Schools and leading multinational teams in Kabul. She played a key role in addressing sexual misconduct within the CAF a presentation you don’t want to miss!

 

  • Julius Brown
    Julius is a committed leader in supporting veterans and first responders affected by Operational Stress Injuries (OSIs). As the Director of OSI-CAN, he has expanded the organization’s reach across several provinces, providing guidance and support to individuals dealing with the mental and emotional effects of their service!
