A Proud Canadian Heritage

On February 15, 1965, a historic moment unfolded as our beloved maple leaf flag was raised for the first time on Parliament Hill. This iconic symbol of Canadian identity was officially adopted two years before our nation’s centennial. To commemorate this significant day, February 15 was designated as National Flag of Canada Day in 1996.

Flag Day Dinner

On February 15, 2025, we will celebrate the 60th anniversary of our flag heritage with a commemorative Veterans Flag Day Dinner in Kingston, Ontario. The theme of the dinner is Domestic Operations and will focus on Military operations for the past 60 years in Canada.
