The Respect Campaign Forum & Events

Creating Awareness and Raising Funds

Thanks to the tireless contributions of our Partners, Sponsors and local Communities we are able to present interesting events to help support the Respect Forum and Campaign endeavours.

Why Events and Fundraisers?

Many people are unaware of the plight of our veterans and emergency response personnel. By presenting and publicizing events the general public might be interested in, we raise awareness and very valuable funding for our initiatives and partners.

Past Events

July 2018
Operation Husky – 75th Anniversary 2018
The Walk for Remembrance and Peace On July 10th 1943, 25,000 Canadian soldiers from the 1st Canadian Division landed at Pachino, Sicily, marking the start of a near two-year Sicilian Campaign. After many courageous battles and a triumphant outcome, close to 6,000 Canadians lie in 21 cemeteries from Catania to Argenta, Italy. The Canadian public remains largely unaware of this vital WWII mission dedicated to the return of peace and democracy in Italy. Operation Husky 2018 helped raise awareness of the pivotal role Canadians played during WWII in Italy.
