To create a network among organizations who support CAF veterans, Emergency Responders and their families in meeting the array of challenges, such as: transition, mental health, and housing instability, by promoting collaboration that improves the delivery of services.<\/div>

We hope to see all Military Units, Police Services, EMS, Fire and Rescue, Medical and support First Responders, Peer Support groups, Spiritual support providers, local and municipal leaders, CMHA, Veterans Support agencies, EAP providers, VAC, Legion Branch Service Officers, psychologists, social workers, and anyone else interested and supporting those who suffer from PTSD and Operational Stress injuries.

Marsha Snider
<\/strong>Regional Manager, Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Critical Incident Stress Management Program (CISM), Ontario Region<\/em>
<\/strong><\/p>

Marsha Snyder is the Regional Manager of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Program for the Ontario Region with Correctional Service Canada. Prior to her current role, Marsha worked as a Behavioural Science Technician and a Correctional Program Officer at various institutions in the Kingston area.<\/p>

With experience supporting employee mental health, psychological wellness, and peer support initiatives, she has worked closely with leaders and frontline employees to strengthen individual wellbeing and promote healthy workplaces. Marsha is passionate about advancing evidence-informed approaches to mental health and wellness and regularly contributes to training, education, and program development across the organization.<\/p>

Outside of work, Marsha enjoys staying active through running and the gym. She is busy keeping up with her three young kids and her dogs. Being the spouse of a first responder, she brings both professional and personal experience to conversations about mental health, resilience, and wellbeing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Lisa Delaney
<\/strong>Occupational Therapist, Garnet Families Network, Queen\u2019s University<\/em><\/p>

Lisa is an occupational therapist leading the Garnet Families Network at Queen\u2019s University. Clint Barker <\/strong>MSc (Psych), MBA
<\/strong>OSISS Peer Support Coordinator<\/em>
<\/strong><\/p>

Clint Barker joined the British Army in 1986 at age 16, completing two years of training at the Army Apprentice College in Harrogate. He spent the next 20 years advancing through the ranks with operational tours in Iraq, Bosnia, Northern Ireland, and Afghanistan, specializing in Air Support Operations and serving within a Tactical Air Control Party (TACP). After completing the Yeoman of Signals course in 1997, he spent nine years in high\u2011level communications roles, including postings in UK National Security and Counter\u2011Terrorism Operations.<\/p>

Commissioned from Warrant Officer Class 1 (CWO) in 2006, Clint spent four years as an Operations and Staff Officer, both on deployment and providing strategic, operational and tactical level communications in Afghanistan.<\/p>

In 2010, Clint emigrated to Canada with his family. After 13 years with Calian Battalion at Fort Frontenac, he joined the Operational Stress Injury Social Support (OSISS) program in September 2023 as a Peer Support Coordinator, fulfilling his aim to contribute more directly to military and veteran mental health support and well being of those communities.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
